Vita / Lebenslauf:
I was born in Israel of French and Tunisian parents. I spent my early years enjoying the freedom of running in the sand of my desert country of birth, and relishing the sights and aromas of the fields, the riot of poppies in the spring, and the fresh fruits that were so plentiful. I later moved to Europe (Italy and then Paris), eventually relocating to the United States, and met my husband in Japan. It is the force of such experiences that hungers to reveal itself through my paintings. I am essentially self-taught, and prefer the impressionistic landscape as my medium, painted variously in watercolor or acrylic. I also love music, and when I started to paint in earnest, I simultaneously began to study voice. I only wish I knew how to incorporate music into my paintings! Lacking that ability, I frequently give them musical names.
